From the moment Daymond took the stage I knew we were in for something special. And by the end of the first night I knew I was in trouble. It was going to be 4 days to test my staying power, because I didn’t want to miss out on Las Vegas, but I most definitely did not want to miss out on any of the sessions. The greatest learning experience for me was in the judging room, understanding what makes a piece of work award worthy.
The next greatest learning experience? If you want to meet with the judges and speakers troll the bar near the black jack tables. Putting young creatives within conversation distance with the very best of the ad industry was in my opinion the best part of an amazing conference. I have come away with new friends and memories that will stay with me forever.
My only regret is that I can't attend ‘Creative Conversations’ again. Unless I pay. Who are we kidding? We work in advertising right? ;)
