Dentsu Named Regional Network of the Year for Asia

(New York, 5th November 2018) LIA, one of the most prestigious Global award shows in Advertising, Digital, Technology driven work, Health & Pharma and Branded Entertainment, today announced the winners. The 33rd Annual London International Awards judging convened over a 10-day period. The Juries, drawn from the world’s most recognized talent and presided over by industry leaders, viewed and scored every entry within their medium, ensuring that all the work was judged equally.

 

Japan brought home 23 of the coveted LIA statues and attained 7 Finalists - 6 Gold, 9 Silver, and 8 Bronze.

 

In total 705 LIA statues, in addition to finalists, were awarded from 40 countries. The top countries were United States (211), Germany (111), Australia (53), United Kingdom (50), and Canada (41), Brazil (34), France (27) and Japan (23).

 

“Japanese creative work has always pushed the boundaries – whether in terms of ideas, technology or crafting.  This year is no exception. The winners are outstanding in the way they have moved the needle for the industry,” commented Barbara Levy, President of LIA.

 

Dentsu was awarded the Regional Network Of The Year for Asia. This win was calculated based on a point system of Statue and Finalist wins throughout Asia. Points were allocated for winning work entered by either Dentsu or by other companies that were involved in the work and credited Dentsu.
