NEW ZEALAND TAKES HOME 13 STATUES AT 2018 LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARDS

(New York, 5th November 2018) LIA, one of the most prestigious Global award shows in Advertising, Digital, Technology driven work, Health & Pharma and Branded Entertainment, today announced the winners. The 33rd Annual London International Awards judging convened over a 10-day period. The Juries, drawn from the world’s most recognized talent and presided over by industry leaders, viewed and scored every entry within their medium, ensuring that all the work was judged equally.

 

New Zealand brought home 13 of the coveted LIA statues and attained 5 Finalists - 2 Gold, 6 Silver, and 5 Bronze.  In total 705 LIA statues, in addition to finalists, were awarded from 40 countries.

 

“New Zealand has this ‘can do’ spirit.  And every year, with this can do spirit, they push the creative envelope further and further ahead of their competition,” commented Barbara Levy, President of LIA.

 

DDB Group New Zealand sees great success, with a total of six Statues and two Finalists - Gold (1), Silver (2) and Bronze (3).
