Vera's journey as a filmmaker began when she saw the film "Awakenings” at the age of 18 years. The experience to create something so deeply touching made her believe in the medium of film.
 
After having studied marketing and communication and miscellaneous stays abroad, Vera started her professional career at BBDO Germany, where she acted as TV Producer.
 
Five years later, Vera joined TEMPOMEDIA where she currently acts as Managing Director and Executive Producer, as well as, Partner heading the three offices in Hamburg, Berlin and Frankfurt.
 
In 2021, she founded TEMPOMEDIA PICTURES focusing on feature films and TV series.
 
She has developed TEMPOMEDIA into one of the most successful and creative commercial film production companies in Germany.
 
Outside of the film industry she created a series of nine gender neutral niche perfumes as the Co-founder of the brand MAVEMADE.
 
Vera has received numerous awards and accolades for her work including several London International Awards, Clio, New York Festival, Eurobest, EPICA, ADC awards and several sought-after Cannes Lions. Her first Cannes Lion was a "remake" of "The Graduate" with Dustin Hoffmann. Another one was received for Edeka "Heimkommen" … the most shared Christmas advert worldwide, as well as, a Grand Prix for BMW "Small Escape".
 
Vera lives in Germany and Italy with her husband, their three boys and their dog.
